We will be releasing all our Summer dates shortly TBC!

9am - 3.30pm

Ages 6-12

What will we offer?

We will run activities including Archery, Navigation, Arts & Crafts and Campfire Cooking.

Outdoor play is brilliant in supporting kids learning, health & well-being.

At Brocks Outdoor Adventures you can trust that your child will have loads of fun taking part in Archery, Navigation, Arts & Crafts and Campfire Cooking.

Archery

These sessions are run by a GB Archery Qualified Instructor with lots of games and challenges involved for your little ones! Whilst being lots of fun Archery also improves -

- Hand eye Co-ordination

- Patience

- Physical & Mental Well-being

- Concentration

Navigation

In these sessions we will teach the basics in map & compass skills & test their new skills through easy Orienteering routes around our woodland areas. Which team can finish the course first!?

Navigation extras

We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a range of wildlife which the kids can learn lots about through our easy-read plant & wildlife identification sheets.

Arts & Crafts

This could be making a bird feeder, to tree clay modelling, to helping us make a bug hotel! Depending on the time of year this activity could have a theme, e.g. in Feb we created Valentines Cards for loved ones!

Campfire Cooking

Always a great finishing activity for the day in which kids will learn the basics in fire making, fire safety & will be able to cook easy campfire recipes such as S'mores, Chocolate banana's or even a Pitta Pizza!

  • We run the Holiday club with 2-3 friendly staff members & take up to 16 children a day

  • All staff members hold an Enhanced DBS check

  • We will require a consent form upon booking which will include a space for you to state any dietary/medical requirements for your child. Brocks Outdoor Adventures can cater to all dietary requirements during the campfire cooking activity.

  • We are an all outdoor activity site with limited shelter so suitable clothing/footwear is a must for holiday club, especially during colder months.

  • We have access to the barn in which we can use for activities (if weather doesn't allow us to stay outside) & lunch time. We have a shed for kids belongings to keep dry & safe.

  • Kids will need a packed lunch, snacks and refillable water bottle (we have water available to refill these for them). We will have a mid morning snack break and a lunch break for them to have this in. You are more than welcome to also pack them an after lunch snack for during the campfire however we usually find that the snack from the campfire cooking is just as good!

  • We have a compost loo onsite & if in the barn there is a flushing toilet also. We've never experienced a problem with kids using the compost loo (works exactly the same, has a toilet seat, can use toilet paper etc.) however can take a bit of getting used to if they've never used one before! Please assure them it is nothing to be scared of!
